Just finished Hellfire (You'll see.) which is a Swamp Witch.
I did the knit into the fringe cast on, but the cast off..
"What was I supposed to do?"
Ten minutes later
"ARGH CURSE YOU ANTICRAFTY PEOPLE FOR CONFUSING ME SO!"
Ten minutes later
"HULK..SMASH."
Three minutes, a cup of tea, and throwing my needles to the floor later..
"I'll bind off loosely and attach fringe normally. Fuck."
So here's the end result.
Somethin's Burnin' Dun-nun-nun Dun-nun-nun. The Shawl! The Shawl! The shawl is on FIRE! Now you see why I call it Hellfire? I love love LOVE the color combo. It's awesome.
I used one strand of Red Heart (I have half a skein of that stuff left) in Carrot, 2 strands of Caron Simply Soft- one strand each of Rubine Red and Mango (that's the bright orange/yellow you see), and one strand of a fuzzy novelty yarn, Yarn Bee Soft Delight, in Red. I bought one skein of that softy fuzzy yarn becuase it was just so soft and cuddly...Anyway. I have none (NONE) of the fuzzy yarn left, but half skeins of each of the normal yarn. *nodnod*
I'm frogging the old one, reknitting. I love these too much to let it sit and languish in a closet. I have a second skein of the blue fuzzy yarn I might put with it to bulk it up some, and give it a nice halo.
Plus I wont ever use my size 35s for anything else, I don't think. ^.^
