Midnight Violets

(1/1)

Sparrow:
Here's some additional pictures I wanted to share.

This one is the first row only done in the round, instead of as an edging.  The only changes to the pattern are the addition of two joins and the subtraction of one.

Even though this is a simple ring and chain edging, there's a lot that can be done with it.  How creative can you get?

Corvus_Alatus:
really, really cool!

One of these days, i'll sit down with the shuttles and get that double stitch down so i can do it consistantly and correctly. Once i get that down, hopefully the rest will come smoothly.

Melankalia:
I started fiddling around with it today, can't wait to have something to show!
Lol, teh ebil crafty voices in my head are informing me of how lovely this edging would be, say around the bottom of my green skirt.....  I am trying (in vain, methinks) to make them understand how very long that bit of tatting would have to be.

Let me guess, those evil voices sound like me?

Melankalia:
Oddly enough.........
