You know that stuff doctor's use to make casts? The gauze with the plaster in it? Grab some of that, grab a minion, put plastic wrap over your hair and some kind of goopy stuff for your face (to lubricate it so the stuff will come off) and have the minion cut strips out of the gauze, place in warm water, then place over your face. Custom mask fitted to you, you can decide the shape you want, and it only takes a couple days to dry. Then you can decorate as you want!

I think that Ball scene in The Labyrinth would be good inspiration (for me anyways).

Anthony -- what part of your body are you masking? Does it have to be your face? 2nd year design when I was in art school had a mask project, and I chose to mask everything BUT my face. (...realizing this may detour you into an even further distraction... but it's worth contemplation)

It is my face (I found inspiration and started two days ago, hehe). Masking everything else is a really interesting idea, though. How did you do it?
