A week behind, as usual, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to mention Ian Johnson, the crocheting football player at Boise Sate. I love how something as innocent as crochet is suddenly seen as subversive when done by a football player - everyone is seems shocked at first, then they tolerate it, and now they finally realize that stereotypes have shit all to do with it and don't give two craps either way about whether he crochets or not. Mmmmm... learning! Don't give up all hope yet, folks, as it seems human beings can still be taught!
