Apparently Blue Moon Fiber Arts was dropped by their bank because the bank decided that their "Socks that Rock" knitted sock club was obviously a scam. No person, even a knitter, would pay to the tune of ~US$200/yr for sock yarn, right?

Better account over at Yarn Harlot's blog, as she was actually in the Socks that Rock club.

I have to say that I think it's awful damn suspicious that this little woman-owned business was treated so badly by their bank. I think it sounds a lot like gender-based discrimination. And I, like many other who commented on Harlot's blog, would sure to hell like to know WHICH bank is acting so bastardly so I can be sure not to do business with it. C'mon Blue Moon, give us the name.
