in a cool, dry place. Or just use the anatomical heart motif provided
instead.

Gauge
18 sts and 24 rows
per 4"/10cm stockinette.
Directions
Body:
In main color, cast on 188 (208, 228 )sts, place
marker, join and knit in 2x2 rib for 1"/2.54 cm. Knit in stockinette
until body measures 16.5 (17.5, 18)"/42 (44, 45) cm from cast on
edge.
Knit 94 (104, 114) sts, place marker, knit to last 6 sts before end of
round marker.
Divide for
Front and Back:
Bind off next 12 sts. Knit to 6 stitches before
mid-round marker, bind off next 12 sts. Finish round. There will be 82
(92, 102)sts for each the front and back. Set aside.
Sleeve:
On DPNs, cast on 44 (48, 48) sts. Work in 2x2
rib for 1"/2.54cm. Knit 1.5"/3.81cm in stockinette.
Increase one stitch at the beginning and end of the round every six rounds
0 (1, 10) times.
Increase one stitch at the beginning and end of the round every eight
rounds 12 (12, 6) times. 68 (74, 80sts) Add a few rows if necessary so
sleeve measures 18.5 (19.5, 20.5)"/47 (49, 52)cm from cast on edge.
Next round: Knit to last 6 stitches of round, bind off last six stitches
of round and first 6 stitches of next round. 12 stitches bound off 56
(62, 68) sts remaining
Join
Sleeve to Body:
Pick up sweater body, place a marker on the
same side as the live yarn. Using this yarn, knit across 56 (62, 68) sleeve
sts onto the circular needle. Place marker, knit across 82 (92, 102) front
sts. Set aside.
Knit remaining sleeve as directed above.
Pick up body and place marker where you left off after the front. Knit
across the 56 (62, 68) second sleeve's stitches, place marker, knit across
82 (92, 102) back sts to the first marker placed. 276 (308, 340) sts needle.
Raglan:
Raglan decrease round: Decrease one stitch before
and after each marker.
Repeat raglan decrease round every 4 rows 4 (2, 0) times.
Repeat decrease round every other round 12 (17, 21) times. Knit one round
even. There will be 24 sts between the sleeve markers and 50 (54, 58)sts
on the front and back.
Next
round: Continue raglan decreases. On the front of the sweater, slip marker,
k2tog, knit 18 (19, 20)sts, BO 10 (12, 14), and finish round. Continue
across to the previously bound off stitches.
From this point on, repeat raglan decreases on all RS rows.
Simultaneously, shape collar:
BO 3 sts at each neck edge 0 (1, 2) times.
BO 2 sts a each neck edge 5 (4, 3) times.
Decrease one stitch at each neck edge on the next RS row.
Purl
across all stitches.
Repeat raglan decreases across. 54 (58, 62) sts remain on needle.
Bind off stitches.
Collar:
Pick up stitches around collar and knit in 2x2
rib for 1"/2.54cm. Bind off loosely.
Finishing:
In contrasting color, duplicate stitch desired
motifs onto sweater.
