The Elder God

The Elder God

"I have dwelt ever in realms apart from the visible world; spending my youth and adolescence in ancient and little known books, and in roaming the fields and groves of the region near my ancestral home. I do not think that what I read in these books or saw in these fields and groves was exactly what other boys read and saw there; but of this I must say little, since detailed speech would but confirm those cruel slanders upon my intellect which I sometimes overhear from the whispers of the stealthy attendants around me."

Ch 6, turn and sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc next 3 st, 3 sc in last st. Working now on the bottom of the chain, sc to end, 3 sc in last stitch, and continue working in your previous stitches until satisfied with the size.

Make sure you leave a tail long enough on one of these to sew all three pieces to the face.

Finishing:

Place small amounts of fiberfill into the very bottom half of the hands and feet, leaving the top half empty. Sew them to the body so the mighty Cthulhu will be in a seated position. (Honestly, you don't think he's STANDING to drive you insane, do you?)

Put your rock in the very bottom of the body to keep it from falling over. Fill the body with the fiberfill. Set aside.

Fill the head with fiberfill and sew it to the body.

Fold the tentacles in half (or approximately...try to stagger them a bit) and sew to face where a mouth would be.

Place the face adornment like a "W" and sew to face in the area of the forehead. Place the eyes (whatever you have for them) on the bottom edge of each branch of the "W" (see picture for reference).
